Charley's Garage was created as an exclusive Toyota repair shop 14 years ago. Most people thought I was crazy! You’re just working on Toyota's? But as it turned out there were 26 thousand Toyota's registered in my county. I figured that was enough! And it was. I have been working on Toyota's for 25 years. I achieved master status with Toyota in 1991. My first mechanic that I hired, (another Charlie) Has a Pro status...And has been working on Toyota's for about 20 years. The second mechanic I hired Steve, (He wouldn't change his name to Charlie) has been working on Land Cruisers since 1969. A self taught mechanic. A guru as far as old Land Cruisers is concerned. People come from all over to have him get the Cruiser in shape.

We are open 5 days a week. Weekends are for fun, so don't expect any Saturday appointments. We do like to work by appointment. If you have an emergency feel free to call, we will work you in if we can. All of our customers are important to us, but please keep in mind that our appointments do have the priority

We do eat, breath, and sleep Toyota! And after years of seeing what happens to Toyota's as they grow old, we can figure out just about anything! If not? It's a challenge we all invite! After all, we can use a nice challenge! Just doing the normal stuff can get a bit boring.

We are to my knowledge the only exclusive independent Toyota repair shop in the area. I am a believer in specializing. With the technology we see today, with all the different makes of cars, it is impossible to know it all! It's not like the old days where all the cars were very similar, and easy to work on.. Most people who have worked on their own car look under the hood of a new car and freeze!! We all have worked on different cars in our past. We all agree! We have never seen a car work as well and dependably as a Toyota! We all drive Toyota's here!

We do not sell jobs here! We inform you of your vehicles problems, give you an estimate, and give you options. We will assist you in making good decisions if you wish.

If we diagnose your problem, and the part we replace doesn’t correct the problem, you will not be charged!

Another thing we think is important is using Toyota factory parts. Your Toyota is a great vehicle because it is engineered well and has quality parts on it. Yes!! They can cost more. But let’s face it. They are the perfect fit! We prefer to use Toyota factory parts when fixing our customers cars to insure your Toyota performs to the standards you are a custom to. There are some cases where the customer has a very old Toyota and just wants to keep it going for a few more miles. So we will use an aftermarket part just to get them by. There are a few other aftermarket parts that work well, are much cheaper, and are guaranteed for life so you can’t loose. Toyota has a year warranty on the parts, and we guarantee out labor for life. In other words if we didn't tighten a bolt, or something, we will take care of it!! I believe you should get what you paid for, and we should be there for you to take care of any mistakes we should make. We are human. We can make a mistake. Our mistakes are very limited , we do take care in getting it right the first time. Your Toyota is very important to us, and it will give you great service if taken care of correctly.
